San Francisco's Avengers are infamous for being the opening band for the Sex Pistols very last show in San Francisco, and with Penelope on vocals there's no doubt that the female fronted band struck a chord with everyone who had seen them. Unlike most pseudo pop-punk shit bands on TV today, they didn't have the millions of dollars or the mass corporations backing them so they could take over the world and given Penelope her rightful place in the punk rock hall of fame as a true strong female kicking out the jams and putting out an amazing body of work. This is a compilation of different recordings from the early days, just to give you a taste to find everything they ever put out to buy. Subsequently, she had a solo career and the Avengers have been back at it from what I hear. Regardless, support this band in any way possible is what our staff endorse uniamosusly.
