Compuesto por Gator McMurder (contrabajo y voz principal), Robert Frank (batería y coros) y José S. Sleeping (guitarra y coros), todos ellos con experiencia previa en bandas de rockabilly, psychobilly y punk bands, han compartido escenarios con Mike Ness, Brian Setzer, Mad Sin, Demented Are Go, Nekromantix y Frantic Flintstones, creándose una reputación sólida gracias a sus intensos y poderosos directos. The music is lively and upbeat mixed with a dark humor that makes for a morbidly fun atmosphere! Their musical influences range from classical to death metal.

Hailing from Los Angeles, the twisted trio of musicians is Gator McMurder (upright bass and vocals), Robert Frank (drums and backing vocals), and Jose S. Sleeping (guitar and backing vocals).

Coffin Draggers fans range from small children to the aged and nearly dead. Their word-of–mouth success keeps growing, and they have quite a strong following considering until now they had no CD available. Their long-awaited debut album titled Dying Breath was recorded at McMurder’s Funeral Home Studios.
